We recently introduced in-line simulation to the MLB Prop Odds Screen for home runs, hits and strikeouts. This is an incredibly powerful tool for bettors who are attacking MLB player props.
If you were just waiting for baseball season to roll around and didn’t check out in-line simulation during the NFL or NBA seasons, the Prop Odds Screen is for more than just line shopping.
We have two partner projection sites – NumberFire and FantasyPros. You can choose from pre-loaded projections from either site and use the green “Simulate” button to see what kind of edge you have against the best available prop lines based on those projections.
These edges are only as good as the quality of the projection you input. We allow users to manually edit each individual player’s projection (just use the pencil icon in the “Simulate” column header).
We also allow users to upload their own custom projections, either ones from your favorite sites, or ones that come from your own work.
When you choose “Upload Projections” you’ll be prompted to download a template. Use that and input your projections for homers, hits, total bases and punchouts. Upload it back to the site and you can simulate based off your numbers.
Here’s what we get when we upload a custom projection set and run all simulations.
We also offer a blending mode that will let you weight your own custom numbers with those of NumberFire and FantasyPros, in any proportions you want.
Here’s what those same numbers look like when we blend them with NumberFire and FantasyPros projections.
Armed with projections you think are accurate, these tools will allow you to find value in major MLB player props markets all summer long.
