NFL Week 18 Pick’em Contest Edges

Here it is. Win or go home. It’s time to put the finishing touch on your season with the NFL Week 18 pick’em contest edges.

Week 18 is chaotic, as evidenced by the top edge at RunYourPool. Patrick Mahomes is sitting and the Chargers are a -3.5 favorite on the Unabated Line. They’re only -1.5 in the contest and just 28.5 percent of players are using Los Angeles.

There are two lessons there: One, stay on top of the news for relevant sit/start information this weekend. At this point, it’s worth waiting as long as possible to ship your picks so you have maximum information. If you were betting early in the week, there was value to be gained by making a few educated guesses on who might be resting starters and where the line was going to go. At this point, confirmation is more important. 

Two, your opponents may not be looking at the news at all. Because Blaine Gabbert is an entirely different situation.

With the DraftKings contest wrapped, we turn to the SuperContest, where the best number edge is with the Raiders at -2.5 against a consensus -3. Both Las Vegas and Denver have been eliminated from playoff contention, but the Broncos are rolling with Jarrett Stidham.

With the Millions at stake and an Unabated member vying for his piece, we want everyone going out strong here. 

Baltimore is sitting Lamar Jackson and the Steelers need the game, but the consensus line has slid to +3.5. You’re getting +4 in the contest line.

In New Orleans, the Saints are playing without Alvin Kamara and you’re getting the hook with the Falcons over that consensus +3.
