Adeyi hasn't played since Week 2, but is working his way back according to JMU head coach Bob Chesney, though he will not burn a year of eligibility by playing in more than four games. He would have the chance to play two more games this season and not burn any eligibility, but was inactive in the Week 11 contest against Georgia State. This marks the seventh consecutive game that he has missed for the Dukes.

"It happens on grass. It came at an awkward moment, but I served it out. I will revisit this subject with my physio and hopefully I'll be okay in a few days. It was a bad fall. It was very clumsy. It happens on grass. During my career, I've had several falls like this on this surface, but as the years go by, my body is no longer the same as before and therefore doesn't take these kinds of uncontrolled slides as easily. So I imagine I'll feel the real impact of my fall tomorrow. I hope it's not too serious and that I'll be able to play at my best and without pain in two days."
