Out for season
Moss will miss the rest of 2024 according to Mike Elko after a knee injury suffered against South Carolina. He'll finish 2024 with 121 carries for 765 yards and 10 touchdowns, and look for Amari Daniels and EJ Smith to take on a bigger role for the Aggies the rest of the season.

Raducanu on beating Maria Sakkari in extreme conditions: "It was one of the toughest matches conditions-wise I have ever played in. Those points in the second set, I was getting a bit wobbly. I think the humidity here, it just makes it feel completely like you have just opened an oven and it just stayed open and your head is in there." On finishing the match in straight sets: "I think you get to a point where you’re so tired that you don’t really know what you’re doing anymore, and I think maybe that helped. I just really had to be smooth and conserve energy. I was also thinking if this goes to three sets, I don't know how I’m going to do it. So just happy I toughed it out." Raducanu later retired in doubles with a headache.

medical time-out (left thigh)
Moutet staved off late cramps to take out Daniil Medvedev in a brutal three-setter in Washington (2:25 hr). The Frenchman used all his craft—mixing spins, throwing in underarm serves, and dragging Medvedev forward—to keep the rallies unpredictable and exploit the Russian’s deep return position. Medvedev looked frustrated and physically off for much of the match, calling the physio to check his vitals at 2-4 in the second set. Moutet later needed treatment himself for thigh cramp at 3-2* in the decider but kept finding ways to disrupt rhythm. After a weather delay at 4-5 in the third, despite battling cramps, the Frenchman broke for the match as Medvedev served up three of his 10 double-faults in the final game. Commentary: "It turned into an endurance battle. You've got to wonder how much he will have left for tomorrow." Moutet 22w 29ue; Medvedev 34w 43ue. Moutet 1/6 6/4 6/4.
