"It happens on grass. It came at an awkward moment, but I served it out. I will revisit this subject with my physio and hopefully I'll be okay in a few days. It was a bad fall. It was very clumsy. It happens on grass. During my career, I've had several falls like this on this surface, but as the years go by, my body is no longer the same as before and therefore doesn't take these kinds of uncontrolled slides as easily. So I imagine I'll feel the real impact of my fall tomorrow. I hope it's not too serious and that I'll be able to play at my best and without pain in two days."

Sinner on recovery and playing with protection: "The priority is definitely rest, and as much rest as possible for the elbow, but we also need to keep the body alive. You can't do nothing for a whole day because I don't function like that, so it's important to have the right balance. The protection now remains to be seen, it depends on how I feel. Today I was pretty good, and with the protection I felt good, so we'll see how it goes from there."
