Prizmic
recovered from a slow start to beat Nikoloz Basilashvili quite comfortably in the end (1:53 hr). The 19-year-old wildcard was overpowered in the opening set but gradually grew into the match and was playing some excellent stuff by the close. He did a particularly good job hitting down the lines in sets two and three, getting Basilashvili on the move. Unable to set himself as cleanly as he could early on, the Georgian began to spray the ball off both wings. Prizmic had the doctor out at the end of the first but didn’t appear to be hindered. Commentary: "Having a more defensive playstyle can be a death sentence vs Basilashvili—he can keep cracking full-power shots off both wings with no end in sight when he's in rhythm. But Prizmic stuck to it and finally started getting the cracks he wanted." Prizmic 28w 20ue; Basilashvili 27w 38ue. Prizmic 2/6 6/3 6/2.
